Unfortunately the floppy controller is different between 4145A and 4145B so my work will not help resurrect your unit, but if a member is willing to spend some time archiving a working disk and make it available for download the HxC2001 approach is highly recommended. After some research I purchased a HxC2001 SDCard floppy emulator to replace the failed floppy drive, archived the boot disk and now have my 4145A back up running again. I have a working solution for the 4145A - I was lucky to have a good boot floppy, but the drive failed. It would be good if someone with a working 4145B could archive the boot floppy with Imagedisk or Teledisk due to the high risk of failure.
